MultiMUD's Immortals

Individual wills stronger than the most powerful collection of mortals, the Immortals of MultiMud are not to be taken lightly. Literally shaping the lands to their own ends, the Immortals are the backbone of the realms, innovating new lands to explore, powerful abilities to master, and mystical items to seek and wield in battle. Both good and evil are represented, even as high as the Implementors, the noble Aragorn and villainous Reyon. MultiMud’s immortals share a wide range of talents, from coding new features, building new areas, running live quests for mortal enjoyment, and even providing missions for new players.
You may choose to follow some immortals, if you share their specific beliefs in the game. Note that following an immortal should be done not to curry favor, but for the RP benefits. Although following an immortal will give you access to a unique item, it is one designed purely for roleplaying with other followers of your deity. In this light, however, following an immortal can be a great boon for the player wishing to expand his or her roleplay, as it provides another group of like minded players, separate from clans, with whom to act out your Mud lives. Additionally, some immortals provide their followers with quests, available only to those followers. Finally, the Immortals support their own clan of sorts, 7 players who act as their Avatars, welcoming new players and fairly dispensing justice upon those who break the set policy.
