The MULTI MUD POLICIES
! READ CAREFULLY - ALL PLAYERS ARE BOUND TO THEM !
- Player killing is NOT allowed, if you do so you are a (KILLER).
Players with the killer flag can be killed by everyone without
getting flagged. Guards will chase you. To lose the flag you have
to sacrifice something worthy.
You have to use the murder command to kill a player. Killing newbies
below level 10 is not possible.
- Player thieving is NOT allowed, if you do so you are a (THIEF).
Players with the thief flag can be killed by everyone without
getting flagged. To lose the flag you have to sacrify something
worthy. Thieving from newbies below level 10 is not possible.
- Read the help on outlaws, this is a possibility for those of you
who like playerkilling and thiefing to do so! Also read help areas.
- Looting of player corpses in lawful and neutral areas is not allowed !
(except between outlaws)
- The MUD language is ENGLISH. That's especially true for gossip, shout,
holler, but may also apply to say (of course you can talk with your
friends in any language you like as long as others are not concerned).
It is not allowed to use offensive language on public channels.
- Newbie help is recommended behaviour for higher level players.
Do NOT help by giving too much money and too valuable eq but by
answering questions and stuff. Your help may sometime be rewarded!
Helping players with lower level than group range to level by
"preparing" mobs for them, summoning, tanking, casting heal etc.
to enable them withstand fights etc. is highly illegal!!!
Making fun of newbies asking "dumb" questions on the newbie channel
is not recommended!!
- It is not allowed to leave CHARMed or SUMMONed mobs in newbie areas
like Freyburg! It is not allowed to SUMMON aggressive mobs to newbie
areas. Actions leading to dieing newbies are regarded as an offense.
- 2.characters: You are allowed to use 2.characters (secondary characters) as long as:
I) You don't multiplay them (= play them at the same time) *
II) You don't transfer eq and money
III) You don't kill mobs for your other chars (ie. corpse retrievals,
killing mobs for quests etc.)
* whereas quitting/renting and logon with another char is granted,
going linkless and logon with another char is considered multiplaying !
- If you discover a bug that enables you to crash the mud you have to
report it. If you crash the mud on purpose you will be punished
SEVERELY by freezing, character deletion, eq deletion or a combi-
nation thereof.
- It is not allowed to trade characters.
- REMEMBER: There is 'THE SYSLOG' !
